CANdice is a CAN interface which provides a powerful and ready-to-use solution for working with CAN networks.
Unlike other CAN interfaces on the market there is no need for a PC slot or a particular operating system. Instead the interface acts as a stand-alone network device and is accessed using standard ethernet technology. This allows you to take full advantage of both the API and the user interface regardless of your operating system or PC architecture.
The user interface is written in 100% pure Java(tm). It is invoked from within your preferred webbrowser and does not require any installation. Working with the CAN interface is as easy as viewing a website.
For custom applications we provide a flexible command interface based on a TCP connection. Therefore custom applications can be developed on almost every platform that supports ethernet, even on embedded systems.
